Still dreaming of doing a massive piece. 10 feet by 10 feet. Stitching something this size would be an amazing feat and grand adventure. Eyeing salvage from this nearby barn . . . Would be a great public art project, maybe in a college (a great reminder to students to think outside the box). I can picture moving this and hanging it in our back barn, me up on ladders, stitching with heavy twines, with lights behind the piece to illuminate the holes. My daughter (an amazing artist herself) was the first one to say that I use light as part of my process, love that.
