Hello. I hadn't intended to start a blog, but received an email on my site and my reply was returned undeliverable. in part, it read "I was wondering if you could give me any pointers about using or selling the projects I have made? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated ". I am certainly willing to help with any advise.

My reply in part was "I would recommend starting local. Local community and church craft shows are a great way to show your work and connect with your community and other creatives. These shows are very inexpensive and can be fun. You can get personalized labels to attach to your pieces. Business cards and a website would be nice, even just showing your work on your facebook page would be great, let people know what you do and what is for sale. Create a board on Pinterest or join Instagram to show your work, you will get great positive feedback. The hospital cancer center I went to for treatment had baskets in the waiting room filled with handmade hats and items for patients. Some would have the artisan's business card attached. All were free to patients. Volunteering in such a way can feel very rewarding ".

Feel free to reach out any time.

Blessings and kind regards,

Julie

Hope this gets to the correct recipient (or helps someone else with the same question)
